Handmade Espadrille Ballet Style With Crocheted Jute - Hot Sale

I just fell in love with this beautifully colored jute when I saw it. Offered here is the comfy and casual ballet style with natural colored jute crocheted uppers, red colored jute feedsack like binding and beads and unfinished woven jute soles. Strong and long lasting, I wore these when living in Spain and they never wore out! Ideal for the spring, summer and autumn seasons. I designed this type in order to have a faster less expensive version to offer and one that does not have a rubberized sole for those that wish to take advantage of the earths vibration. As you can see I have it in a variety of colors and sizes, so if you dont see your color or size, please feel free to ask and I can make up something special. Thanks!

Milpitas resident Christina Truong was crowned Miss Vietnam California 2017 at the annual pageant handmade espadrille ballet style with crocheted jute held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on Jan, 14, Truong, 22, was selected out of a field of 12 pageant contestants to be queen of the court and also crowned the winner of the competition, The contest consisted of a traditional dance, introductions, evening gown and traditional dress competitions and answering questions, As the night went on, the beginning dozen contestants dropped to seven and then to five challengers, until Truong and one other contestant remained in the running, Truong said she was ecstatic and happy to be named Miss Vietnam California 2017..

“I am very fortunate and lucky to have won the title and even more excited for what is to come,” Truong said. She noted each candidate was required to give a platform or goal they would like to work on as Miss Vietnam California. For Truong, her platform will be to raise awareness about depression and suicide in the Vietnamese-American community — a subject for her that hits very close to home.“Two years ago my brother attempted suicide and he is now in a vegetative state,” Truong said this week.

Although she is a psychology major and chemistry minor at San Jose State University and has studied mental health, Truong said she didn’t realize the prevalence and importance of mental health awareness until it affected someone she loves, “Until I personally had that experience, that is when I realized the severity and importance of it, A lot of Vietnamese handmade espadrille ballet style with crocheted jute families lack awareness and knowledge of suicide and depression, especially in youth today,” Truong said, “So I wanted to use my voice and do what I can with Miss Vietnam California, because it is such a large and respected organization to reach out about my experience.”..

Truong said she hopes to use her time as Miss Vietnam California — part of a competition deemed one of the most well-known and well-respected in the community — to encourage young people to embrace their culture and bring awareness to depression and suicide in the Vietnamese Americans.“The organization really promotes preserving and retaining the culture, so by being a part of a lot of community and charity work that had to do with Vietnamese culture”, she said, including a spate of Lunar New Year events, Truong hopes to inspire and “touch the hearts” of Vietnamese Americans.

At the encouragement of her family and friends, Truong said she’s been participating in such pageants since 2014, Truong said competing in pageants requires a lot of hard work, That includes practicing walking in different outfits, answering questions and practicing Vietnamese, Truong said that although she had Vietnamese friends growing up and through school, her cultural awareness grew through high school, college and by participating in different pageants, Born in San Jose, Truong moved to Milpitas in 2004 for fifth grade, She attended John Sinnott Elementary School, Rancho Milpitas Middle School and graduated from Milpitas High School handmade espadrille ballet style with crocheted jute in 2012..

Truong plans to graduate with a bachelor’s degree this year and pursue a career in the medical field. She said she has spent her college years interning and working in various medical-related jobs. Meanwhile, Truong encourages young Vietnamese Americans to embrace and be proud of their culture, whether that means joining their school’s Vietnamese club or participating in pageants like Miss Vietnam California. As Miss Vietnam California this year, Truong said she will focus on volunteer and charity work. As part of her winnings, Truong received a $5,000 scholarship, along with a crown, sash, scepter and cape to wear during her tenure as Miss Vietnam California.

One of Helgi Tomasson’s strengths as artistic director at San Francisco Ballet has been his often-canny talent for knitting together disparate works and assembling programs that are often far more interesting than the parts, But for Program 1, “The Joy of Dance,” which opened the 2017 season Jan, 24, that curatorial know-how skipped town, Tomasson’s dryly academic choreography for “Haffner Symphony” (1991) met Mozart with on-the-beat movement that hammered the grand, pastoral composition into obedience, Even usually impeccable principal Maria Kochetkova looked slightly weary as she whipped around the stage in her solo, her jutting head throwing off her turns and her usually sparkling musicality seeming frayed, The ensemble, too, though dancing masterfully, could not transcend the dutiful purpose handmade espadrille ballet style with crocheted jute that drives “Haffner.”..
