Encaustic is a painting medium of pigment suspended in bees wax and used in a molten hot state. All the materials are in their natural form. It makes a very soft, warm, and textured painting you won't find in any other medium.To create these pieces I use pastels, colored pencils, pigment sticks and encaustic paints.
